We know how eager the community is for this new wave of FFB devices to land - and we’ve been working extensively behind the scenes…
Force Feedback is something special, it’s an exciting way to immerse yourself in your virtual cockpit, whilst giving you a new level of control. But it has to be done right!
We’re not satisfied with the current direction of other flightstick FFB devices, and following our community surveys last year, we’ve been immensely pleased to see that the community agrees with us. We could’ve created a “standard” FFB driven joystick - but that’s not what we want to do!
We’re developing THE force feedback base. It is powerful, fast and utterly smooth, compatible with our wide selection of grips, and features a beautiful exterior to complement your cockpit. We’re not looking to engage in the battle of peak torque figures for marketing - while this is an important metric, it’s only one of many important parameters and by itself doesn’t reflect the true capabilities of an FFB device (specifically for flight simulators)! Pilots - we’re looking to create the ultimate flightstick experience.
So what’s taking so long?
We’ve been working on our FFB idea for many years before we made the initial teaser public. There has been a huge amount of research and development, as well as planning for some new, unique production processes at our factory to accommodate it.
But hardware is just one piece of the puzzle - we have also expanded our software team with members who are bringing in extensive knowledge of FFB, ensuring that the software integration is seamless, innovative and endlessly configurable.
We don't want to rush to be the first, we want to push to be the best!
