It has been some time since the last update posted about the MiG-23, so I decided to do some briefing to keep you updated on development and aware of a few things as well. The MiG-23 serious art development started at the end of 2019 (allowed by less art work needed in the MiG-19 by that date), which is the first step in the development of a DCS module, since coders need a more or less finished art asset to start their work. Work was going good as usual and the objective was to have a mostly finished art assets at the end of 2020.
In the final months of 2020 and the first of 2021 I had to stop development because of a happy event, the arrival and birth of my first child.
Since February of this year I have been back crunching on the MiG-23 artwork and a lot of progress has been made in the last months, including the completely remake of the aircraft cockpit thanks to the procurement of an accurate photogrammetry model, which allows for an almost exact copy of the real life one. the external model is almost finished and all the main parts of the internal cockpit have been made already.
As the project manager and main artist of Razbam MiG projects, there´s a lot of work I need to do for a module, which not only includes artwork, but collect all required aircraft data, contact real pilots and provide coders with good know-hows on systems and aircraft performance, so I´ll kindly ask for your patience if possible.
The plan we have is have this aircraft ready for internal alpha testing this year. I´ll provide you now with a few art development screenshots of the corrected models of cockpit and aircraft thanks to the magic of photogrammetry.

Today, June 2nd 2021, is the 75th Anniversary of the Italian Republic - and we thought there was not better day to announce our second commercial project for DCS - since, in real life, it was one of the biggest successes of the Italian aerospace industry.
DCS G.91
The G.91 is an Italian jet fighter aircraft of Cold War era designed and optimized for Strike and Recon missions. The G.91 originates in the NATO NBMR-1 competition in 1953, which sought a light fighter-bomber "Light Weight Strike Fighter" to be adopted as standard equipment across the air forces of the various member nations.
The G.91 was declared winner of the competition in 1958 and entered into operational service with the Italian Air Force in 1961, and with the West German Luftwaffe in the following year. It was also evaluated by the U.S.Army and adopted by Portuguese Air Force, who made extensive use of the type during the Portuguese Colonial War in Angola and Mozambique.
We will develop the following version: R1B (Italian version), R3 (German Version) and PAN (aerobatic version converted from the A version).
We have no release window at the moment - and needless to say screenshots are preliminary.
We are currently preparing the pre-order access for later this summer. Our work is focused on the AH-64D Block II for Early Access release, based on a detailed design specification. These efforts are spread across all areas of module development, including art, systems, flight dynamics, AI, and more.
The external model and cockpit are extraordinarily complex and time consuming. An enormous amount of research and work have gone into making these as detailed and accurate as possible. Special attention has been given to the pilot crew models and animations.
Much of the avionics work focuses on the navigation system and TSD pages. This is in parallel with the IHADSS / PNVS / TADS, the Area Weapons System / Rocket Management Subsystem, Longbow Hellfire Modular Missile System with the AGM-114K.
The Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) is also in development. This incorporated the Radar Signal Detecting Set and the Common Missile Warning System (CMWS). These will be available at launch and greatly increase mission survivability.
The flight model is progressing nicely, and we are now developing the flight augmentation systems that include SCAS and HOLD modes. Modeling of the T700 GE 701D EDECU engine and related systems is underway.

Dostihy za nejmodernejsim jen dostavaji sim do ery, kdy je vse utajovane, tudiz odhadovane, vice komputerizovane, takze clovek macka tlacitka misto letani, a prilis komplexni, nez aby to stalo normalnimu cloveku za memorovani.
ED musí mít přístup k informacím radaru APG-78 od NG. Jinak by dělali verzi A, kterou kdysi dávno měli v plánu.
Tak jako u Horneta.
To co bude reálně omezeno bude, jako vždy RWR, systémy rušení, přesnost zbraní a maximální zoom u optiky.
Všeobecně jsem ale stejného názoru, radši starší stroj z 80s se vším všudy než nějaký osekaný kus ala moderna.
Ale u toho Apache dělá radar hodně zábavy navíc imho.
Český sen se uskutečnil , ale jinak než ve filmovém dokumentu.
Hodně očekávaný JAS-39 C Gripen mod je venku, ještě potřeba vytvořit nějaký Čáslavský skin a můžeme spokojeně létat.

Ještě mohu kupovat Natural 98, který má ETBE. Nebo ještě se dá někde sehnat neoriginální těsnění na regulátor tlaku paliva, který bude dělat největší neplechu.
