Ovšem na vině není snad ani přímo tvůrce JF-17, pokud ta střela má IRL takové parametry .. (?!)
Ale retardace us střel. Podle smluv. Tak aby to bylo legální.
Nějak téhle pohádce chybí dobrý konec.
Moment ona se nějaká střela v DCS chová korektně? Co vím tak ohledně těch modernějších střel (R-27, R-77, AIM-120 atd.), bylo vždycky tuna kontroverze ohledně jejich chování. To samý můžeme říct i o ECM, páskách a dalších věcech, který se rozhodně nechovají tak, jak by se chovat měli. Tohle ovšem bude platit u všech simulátorů co se budou pokoušet o moderní letecký boj.
By mě zajímalo, kdo ví, jak se mají chovat... Myslím, že tohle ví pouze a jenom výrobce oné munice. Kdo tady zná přesný tvar, jak přesně funguje systém střely, jak moc se dovedou vychýlit kormidla, jaký je maximální kroutící moment servopohonu oněch kormidel,.....

Tak ono chtít za Viper plnou palbu, když ED ještě nestihlo ani dokončit Hornet. Ve stavu v jakém to je bych nekoupil ani jedno ze jmenovaných.
DCS World který si zakládá na utra realističnosti najednou bude mít pákistansko čínský stíhač poslední generace ?! To mě hlava nebere. Zdá se že si s Mirage 2000 a F-5 ještě dlouho vystačím.
Poslední generace stíhacích letadel je 5. generace a tam JF-17 nepatří. Takže stále platí, že stíhací letouny v DCS o kterých je řeč (F-16, F/A-18, Mirage-2000C, Su-27, Su-33 Mig-29 a samozřejmě JF-17 patří do 4.generace
Všiml jsem si, že hodně vášně vzbudily zveřejněné záznamy PL-12/SD-10 střel. Na jednu stranu to chápu, předvedené chování je v řadě případů zvláštní(pokud jde o odpor střel a celkově guidance a kinematiku). Uvidíme jak se budou chovat po vydání třeba to ještě změní. Nicméně i kdyby se chovaly více či méně uvěřitelně tak samozřejmě AIM-120 je v DCS jak to říci slušně silně degradován (neprovádí loft atd.) čili letouny ho používající by měly problém i tak. Z ED se před časem podařilo vypáčit odpověď, že AIM-120 bude kompletně předělán příští rok takže nezoufejte.
Slabiny JF-17 jsou zřejmé. Malý combat range, pouze čtyři fox 3 střely (PL-12/SD-10) a zhruba poloviční počet protiopatření. Uvidíme jak bude fungovat její radar.

Campaigns
M-2000C Red Flag campaign by Baltic Dragon. Changes are to missions 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15.
- Updated numerous missions to fix possible bug with AI wingmen and other flights not following their lead.
- Updated safeguard for Gazelles in M15 to make sure they are destroyed.
- Updated M04 and removed chatter about lack of NVGs.

We are excited to share with you the first, extended look at the Supercarrier module coming to DCS World! Supercarrier includes an incredibly detailed Nimitz-class aircraft carrier with all the details you’d expect like realistic 3D objects, textures, lighting, and animations. This module also introduces new features into DCS World like an animated deck crew, interactive Landing Signal Officer (LSO) station, and CASE I, II, and III carrier landing radio communications.

In our march to added TWS on 18 December for the Hornet, we've now added SCAN RAID and EXP (Expand) sub-modes to TWS.
Expand (EXP). When there is an L&S target in TWS mode and EXP is pressed, the display will change to a 10 nm range with a 20-degree azimuth scan. The display range on the right side of the display will indicate the 10 nm scan area (for example: 30 at the top and 20 at the bottom). Despite the 20-degree azimuth scan, the legend will still indicate the previous setting and the b-sweep line will not freeze on the L&S.
This mode simply zooms in on that area, but the TWS scan operation, target rankings, etc. does not change.
Filed tracks that are outside of the display will be on the edge of the display and flash.
SCAN RAID Mode. This is selected from the SCAN RAID button on the throttle and it concentrates the TWS scan to a small area to break out closely spaced targets. When enabled, the scan is centered on the L&S target. It is displayed in a standard range and azimuth format in 10 nm zoomed in display at 22-degrees of azimuth, with a 2-bar elevation. The b-sweep line is frozen on the L&S target and SCAN RAID appears at the bottom of the display.
When in this mode, track files and raw hits are displayed. If a new L&S target is designated, the RAID SCAN will move to that location. Filed tracks that are outside of the display will be on the edge of the display and flash.
When selected, AUTO scan centering is automatically selected and cannot be unselected while in this mode.

We will continue de-bugging these and TWS as a whole, and we still need to add L&S HUD indications when in TWS.
