Z Polychopu jsem pred nějakou dobou získal dojem, ze je to hobby projekt jednoho člověka, co nemá čas ani tah ten vývoj rozšířit a dotáhnout. Bohužel.
Next week we introduce the CV-59 Forrestal - a free carrier for every DCS World pilot! The Forrestal will include only base DCS carrier (Stennis) level features.
They didn't! :) Please don't blame ED for our feature-set for the Forrestal. They haven't called us up and said "no" to anything.
It was always envisioned as a Stennis-feature level carrier when we started work on it but with as much added immersion as we could do with the code access that we do have (deck crew with canned animations was our minimum). That was the state of DCS World at the time of conception, and things are very different now with DCS Supercarrier in the mix.
We still hope to achieve something in that direction- but for now we're sticking to the base DCS World carrier feature -set as we continue exploring avenues with partners and internally on what we can do.
Please do try to enjoy our modeling work to the extent that you can regardless. Know that we wish to do as much as we can considering the investment of time and effort we've made - but ED is not a bad guy in any of this. :)

Hey guys! This new update to DCS World has finally brought us the ability to control the LANTIRN pod through the JESTER AI interface! This definitely breathes new life into the DCS F-14 Tomcat module by allowing singleplayer pilots to access the LANTIRN pod for the FIRST TIME!
I hope this new addition means that we will see some air to ground focused F-14 Tomcat campaigns in the future!
Hey everyone, Reflected here. Today I have some amazing news for the Tomcat fans out there. I did a major update to all my F-14 skins, so if you ever downloaded any of them: delete the files and re-download them now.
I fine tuned the colors to be a lot more realistic under all lighting conditions, tweaked the weathering, the roughmets, so the shininess of each component. Reworked the metal parts, fixed many fonts and stencils, and added some new ones too.
I removed several details specific to the B model or changed them to match the A. I also re-worked the leading edge of the vertical stabilizers which was incorrect in the original template.
Lastly, I fixed some historical inaccuracies based on dozens of new photos that I found.
So, delete all my F-14 skins that you’ve had, and re-download them now.

Heatblur recently released a brand new JESTER update with targeting pod functionalities, so I thought it would be a good idea to revisit the LANTIRN in depth. The section I had initially was quite lackluster and didn't really explain the LANTIRN modes and limitations, so there it is! I hope some of you find this useful.
