No, this is after war photo where was used part of US gauges. Altimeter is US gauge. Because zero is up.

Gentlemen, mlha nad kanálem se zvedá.. Jo, a první sestřel se nepočítá. Tím se jen vyrovnává účet za sebe...
Jsou to 3 verze, základní masově vyráběná R-5 včetně varianty s lyžovým podvozkem, pak civilní a ta nejvíce atraktivní s přídomkem SSS. Ta má oproti starší R-5 kapotáž na kolech, lepší zadní kulomet, stabilizátor, výkonější kulomety v křídlech a hlavně výkonnější motor.
Dvojplošník byl samozřejmě zastaralý už v druhé půlce 30tých let a tak byl do boje nasezen spíše v noci, to platilo pro všechny boje, kterých se kdy účastnil. Letectvo o prototyp nemělo zájem, do historie tak neměl nikdy vstoupit, své masové výrobě vděčí pouze šefovi NKVD Ježovovi, který sice letectví vůbec nerozuměl ale jak ho viděl, udělalo na něj takový dojem, že utrousil poznámku o tom proč už se stroj dávno nevyrábí...a toto stačilo, v SSSR je možné všechno.
Letectvo si s tisíci podřadnými letouny nevědělo rady, lehké bombardovací pluky byly brzy rozpuštěny ve prospěch rychlých pluků, do kterých přicházela nová hvězda, moderní SB-2. R-5 tak byly přeřazeny do bitevních pluků ŠAP, ale ani zde se na svou práci nehodil.
Bombload je solidní a velká nabídka jeho variant, má pumovnici kam se ale vejdou jen malé bomby AO-8 nebo AO-10, FAB-50 a vyšší už musí věšet pod křídla, za zmínku stojí možnost 2x FAB-250 nebo i kontajner RRAB, pro ten už musíte použít zaměřovač.
Do křídel dostal SSS nové kulomety Škas a dobře se tím ničí měkké cíle. Zadní střelec má dokonce bombardovací zaměřovač OPB-1, takže je to i takový lehký level bomber.
Letouny R-5 se můžou nasadit do Španělský občanský války, incidentu u Chalchyn Gol, Zimní války (moje oblíbená) a vlastně dle libosti i po celou 2 sv.
