Blueflag server has been running on the dedicated server for a while.
Testing - Dedicated Server Tools from ED!
As some of you have guessed - we've been testing the dedicated server for a while now - as shown by a great improvement in performance and stability on both scenarios. As a disclaimer, the dedicated server tools from ED are currently under heavy development and heavy testing - so don't judge the final product by what you see here! BlueFlag is very heavy on units and scripting so we're testing to see what problems that causes and stress testing until it breaks. As our first major public test (we have been testing in secret up till now - and under NDA) - we're going to run the BlueFlag mission with NO Scripts - to test one aspect of the dedicated server tools. We'll run on Caucasus and publish more details tomorrow (Sunday). The idea will be to get as many players as possible in - flying around and causing havoc - we'll then review the logs and submit to ED if there are any issues We'll publish what slots working for each side so you'll know where you can spawn. There will be no capture, CTLD or lives restrictions. Only thing off limits is nukes. Anyone caught using one will be banned permanently from BlueFlag for life. The mission will just be the Caucasus map and slots. SRS will be working as usual - but mission progress will not be saved. Please help us test and know that you're helping to make DCS great! As always - thanks for your patience and support! Also - A huge thank you to ED for reaching out and letting us help test and improve DCS. It's an exciting time!

This week we plan to migrate the current Open Beta to the Release version. We've put this off for the past two weeks as we worked on some Hornet and other items.
For next week's Open Beta, we plan (not promise):
1- GBU-10, 12, and 16 laser-guided bombs with off-board designation.
2- Bullseye (A/A Waypoint) and BRA indications.
3- Improved IR Maverick axis slew and other Maverick fixes/additions like improved ship attack, longer lock ranges, range indications when slaved, and others.
4- Fixed DUD cue.
5- New radar defaults based on SME feedback.
6- Fixed cockpit art like left DDI error.
7- JHMCS updates like look-up reticles.
8- Air show smoke.
9- Fixed ACM HUD mode indications.
I'll have some Bulls/BRA and LGB videos coming by the weekend.
In parallel, the team is hard at work on the HARM, datalink (SA page, MIDS, Link-16), FLIR rendering tech, and A/G rendering tech.
Testnete to niekto?

3D model F-14 s kokpitem (edit: koukám, že kokpit lze dosehnat) a FM vypůjčeným z F-15. Módů, kde si dali práci s vlastním kokpitem a SFM mnoho není. Tady ukázka chystaného módu F-22.
Ta hudba se k tomu hodí! Je stejně dementní jako ten mod
(Ještě k tomu existuje stejně zbytečný mod Su-57 kde si tvůrce aspoň dal tu práci vymodeloval to sám v 3dmaxu, tam bych ocenil aspoň tu kreativitu)

Some early Happy holidays from team Heatblur from today's LANTIRN testing! We hope you'll enjoy some quality time with friends and family in the coming weeks, and thank you for all of your support in 2018. <3
NOTE: Not a teaser for Christmas F-14 release.

It's just a photo we took last night during our LANTIRN test flights with some UFO we managed to catch. We thought that it would be a good idea to use it as our cover photo, and share it with you. It's the first time we share with you how the LANTIRN will look displayed on the pilot's VDI; we hope you enjoy it.
It's the holiday season, and even though we're crunching hard, finally we've felt the Christmas mood. Happy holidays and all the best for you, aviation nerds!
Multi Camera view from Grayson Frohberg flying our F-14 for a demonstration in VFAT 2018!
Disclaimer: Sounds are enhanced in post for this demonstration as they are still Work in Progress.
Regarding the Maverick TDC slew for the Thrustmaster Warthog mini-stick axis, this has been a point of great frustration for the team this week. After testing the same function on other throttle mini-sticks (VKB, Virpil, CH, Saitek, the Thrustmaster TWCS), we only see this issue with the Warthog. This appears to be a hardware issue that we cannot resolve through software (a conflict between TDC press and TDC slew at the same time).
We do realize that this is a very popular throttle (I use one too!), so we plan to make an option of requiring TDC press to slew the seeker. While it will not be accurate to the real operation of the AGM-65F, it should allow Warthog user much better control.
This will require significant recoding, so it may not be ready for this week’s Open Beta. However, we are devoted to resolving this issue. In the meantime, we suggest setting a separate button for TDC press (ENTER) but still use TDC slew axis.

Dear friends, we can finally give you some good news. We will release C-101EB and C-101CC with EFM this week as an Early Open Beta version.
You will be able to try out our new fully realistic Flight Model, based on real data. Well, in fact, it is not only based on the real data but it is the real data. Therefore, it represents the real performance and the real flight mechanics. The C-101 can hardly be simulated at a higher level than the one you'll get.
You will also be able to use a wide array of weapons, including i.e. a nice looking BLG-66 Belouga, CLBS-200 container with 4 BDU-33 training bomblets, BIN-200, BR 250 and 500, several short-range IR missiles, etc. Moreover, of course, the Sea Eagle as well.
Regarding the C-101EB trainer, it will be possible to fly from the rear cockpit in multiplayer, though very limited yet. We will keep working on this part that requires a huge amount of coding and knowledge.
We are happy to offer you this nice Christmas present that we hope you like and enjoy
Please take into account that, as I said above, it’s an early version and we will keep working on it to fulfil your expectations and our goal.
Just a quick video response to a forum question on how you can ask Jester AI to mark a position on the map in the F-14. Of note is the realistic time it takes Jester to enter coordinates through the appropriate panels! Ignore the Jester sound itself; it's oddly balanced due to our procedural FX stack not being enabled in the build this was recorded in. Full, in-depth looks at DCS: F-14 coming soon!
We planned to release today a new update of DCS 2.5.4, but we faced a number of critical bugs that require rebuilding and a new testing session.
Therefore, the release of DCS 2.5.4 Open Beta is postponed until tomorrow.
Wags vysvětluje proč nebyla dnes aktualizace a láká na video:
During final testing, we discovered a bug with the Mi-8 that would crash DCS World. As the primary point of the Open Beta is to catch crash bugs before being published, we want to first resolve this.
We'll release the change log once the OB is released tomorrow.
Thanks and enjoy the Winter sale! We have an epic video coming later today.
