The MiG-19P radio is now enabled and working. Unfortunately it uses preset radio channels only. It does not have a manual radio frequency tuner.
This puts the pilots with the need to choose either to use easy comms or not.
In easy comms, you will be able to set any frequency you may require. Otherwise, you will only be able to use any of the six preset channels that you configure with the mission editor.
The audio selector allows you to hear either normal radio traffic or the ADF station identifying Morse code.
About the MiG-19P landing gear brakes
.
The landing gear brake system uses compressed air. The system is fed from two 10 liter bottles and has a total pressure of 150 Kg/cm2.
There is a caveat with the landing gear brakes. Every time you use them, you are consuming air. When you press the brake pedals, the brake pads valves are opened and air from the main system enters and activates them. But, when you release the brakes pedals, the valves close and the air in the brake cylinders is released to the atmosphere, so you lose the equivalent of 1.5 to 2.0 Kg/cm2 of pressure EVERY TIME you use the landing gear brakes.
All pilots will have to manage the air supply because it can only be replenished by the ground crew.
The pneumatic system is also used for arming the cannons, winshield de-icin and activating/jettisoning the brake parachute.
After our initial optimization pass, currently performance in the F-14 is identical to the F-18 on:
i5 6600K OC'd to 4.3 Ghz
32GB RAM
GTX1080
With most/all DCS settings to High. VRAM usage is higher, so expect lower total overhead (this may be an issue in cases where a mission uses many different assets).
We will be doing detailed benchmarks for your purchase decisionmaking once the module is fully complete.
I quit working on the project for two reasons. First, although I was very open and honest about everything, the project still became a bureaucratic security issue for my employer, as a US Air Force contractor. I ended up resigning partly because of it. But more importantly, I had established a relationship with some Tu-22M people in Russia who were happy to contribute to the project, but eventually had to ask me politely to cease my research efforts. I won't say exactly why, but the request was reasonable, they had been very fair with me, and I agreed to drop the project.
While I was trying to make the Air Force job work, the best thing for me to do was cease all communication about the project while I was investigated. I resigned in March, but remained silent while I looked at other work (the security headaches would potentially follow me to any government related job), but I ended up getting out of engineering entirely. I have moved to Alaska to fly professionally, and can say something now.
Razbam is pleased to announce a new member to its team, James Needham.
James will undertake the role of Community Manager, and brings 20 years of experience in corporate marketing and communications to the team and his new role.
James has been recruited from within the DCS community and understands the dynamic, importance and value that this brings to all DCS users.
James has been flying in DCS for many years, owning and flying every module and map. This passion for the game and being an active member of the community stimulated the creation of a new flying group.
James was the founder of the 59th Ravens, a group dedicated to helping hundreds of new comers learn the game and the Multiplayer environment.
When asked, James outlined his thoughts and what he could contribute to the new Razbam role. “Firstly, I would like to thank Razbam for this ongoing opportunity and I have enjoyed getting to know the team for the last 18 months. During this time, I have felt honoured to be able to help them move forward”, James also added, “Working with Ron and the team has been a very enjoyable experience, from creating trailers, images and the monthly videos I am very excited for the future of Razbam and DCS”.
When asked specifically about how he will approach the role, James went on to share his thoughts, “While, I am very excited to have this opportunity to bridge the divide between the community and Razbam in new ways, such as the popular monthly update videos, as well as new ideas I will share in due course.
Throughout my years I have lived by a simple approach, always be honest and transparent, which I intend to apply to this role, this will remain a priority”.
Should you have any immediate questions or in the future related to Razbam, please feel free to contact James via the Razbam Facebook page or on the ED forum, username =DECOY=
Razbam and James look forward to your continued support and to building a stronger relationship with the community for many years to come.

Nastavením os to taky nejsem schopný poladit.

Pokud máš zapojenou i myš, zkus ji v systému deaktivovat.
